The Compassion Church, Talibad (CHHATTISGARH) invited our missionaries to minister the Word in the Sunday Service. Praise God for this open door. In the Youth Retreat in Bhilai 150 youth gathered to hear missionary Elisha speak on ‘Youth and Bible.’ Many took decision to give priority to read the Bible and be walking epistles.
The Leprosy Mission of Baitalpur invited Deena and Elisha to minister in their annual Staff Retreat on 27 October. The staff were refreshed and renewed. Praise God for protecting our partner Mr. Elwin from a major car accident. Though the car rolled over twice he escaped miraculously with minor bruises.
In GUJARAT 21 people came out of the waters to receive appreciation from the Father that they were His beloved children. A Discipleship Training Camp for youth was conducted from 8th to 10th November in Mehemedabad.
On the 12th of October a Banjara Retreat was conducted in the Ramdurg Church, KARNATAKA (pictures page 13). Though only 75 were expected 135 filled the church. The Banjara people were strengthened by the Word shared by missionary Mohana Krishnan. Pray for a rich harvest among this community. Revival Meetings in Alnavar was organised from 14-16 October. The 180 participants were spiritually renewed through the Word shared by Mr. Paul Dhinakaran.
42 girls participated in the Aroma Girls Camp in Sagar, MADHYA PRADESH, on the 5th of October. Missionary Esther Robinsam shared the Word. The girls prayer cell was strengthened. A gathering for girls every month is planned. On 12th and 13th October, missionary Jancy Anandaraj (Lucknow), S. Saravanan (Jhansi), Paul David (Banda), A. Kadhirvel (Bada Malahara) of M.P. attended a Training Programme for Trainers on Conversational Evangelism in Gwalior (MP). Twenty lady staff attended the Retreat for them in Sagar on 13 & 14 October.
A Deborah Camp was conducted on the 7th of November in Jobat (M.P) and Missionary Jeyajothi Jeyaraj shared the Word. There is good response in Karrapur, Korauigaon and Talcherry villages. Pray that congregations be established in Rachaily, and Rajghat villages. Pray for Sapna, Rajni and Manisha whose marraiges are getting delayed. Bro. Alex, a businessman, plans to start a Tuition Centre through which to communicate the love of Christ. Pray for this venture. Missionaries Jason and Allen ministered to the 40 youth who attended the Youth Retreat in Duliajan (Assam). God richly blessed them. The duo again ministered in the Youth Camp in Jaipur (Rajasthan), organised by Emmanuel Schools. 150 attended; many committed their lives to Christ and responded to the call for ministry.
Eleven nurses wrote the Frank Answer II Contest, conducted in the Medical College Campus, Berhampur, ODISHA. Mrs Pushpa Kusha conducts prayer cell here. Pray for the consolation of Rev. S.K. Mali who lost his daughter during delivery in America.
During the outreach to the Tonhara village 20 people showed interest in the Good News. Missionary Kusha shared the Word in the Odiya Baptist Church. Praise God for open doors. Outreach to the Badiambagaon village along with the Odiya Baptist Church members was an encouragement as 120 listened to the Good News intently. This village was reached by our missionaries earlier during the floods.
Pray for the healing of Rita, nursing student, suffering from facial paralysis. Pray for Rinky for a child. Dr. Kerketta needs healing of his retinal problem of his right eye. Amit our partner’s son is working as a lecturer since two years without salary. Pray for a miracle that his salary may be released. Pray for a child for Reena and Danish, married since six years.
A half day fasting prayer for boys and a get-together for girls was conducted for our prayer cell youth in Jaipur (RAJASTHAN) in which 22 youth were strengthened to deepen their commitment in the Lord. Inspite of sickness Ajesh and family conducted prayer meetings in Miyathi, Bedawa, Udaipuriya and Hathijadil villages. Praise God for what He is doing in Thandla among the Bhil tribes through miracles. The number of Bhil believers is growing and they are witnessing to their family members. Siska, Nagu and Khima Bhai were delivered from alcoholism. 15 are coming for prayer in Chirawa. Fakargay family has come to the Lord! Praise God!
Worship Service has been started newly at Koiripari, Singipetta and Hansqua villages of WEST BENGAL. Mr. Panin has come forward to give a land for Worship shed at Singipetta. Praise God for open doors and willing hearts.
Our ministry in Uttar Pradesh is growing wings. Shamshabad, Lulapur, Pitharpur, Danehari, Tehhuva, Hadonra, Kalavi and Hirapur villages were visited. Phulchand, Harinath, Rahul, Mongridevi, Nirmala, Munsuf, Sonikumari, Ramawadh, Manaj, Saroj, Arvind, Bhola & family, Ajit and family and Himanshu Patwa are our new contacts. Pray for their salvation.
Ten Christian families were visited and literature worth Rs. 1875/- was sold. Missionaries fellowshipped with Dibyapur partners and shared the word of God in their Sunday Worship Service.
